December meeting CANCELLED!!!!

Hi Everyone, it looks like the busy month of December has thwarted most of our plans to be able to make it to the meeting this month.  

Our December meeting is CANCELLED!!!  

Our next meeting is January 17th at Traditional pasttimes.  

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year!  See you in January!!

What time do you meet - Jan 17th .. and what do you do share quilts , workshop ?  Where is this info on the site?

I'm a newbie so I don't know anything.  Just moved from Fort St John, BC

Hi Joanne, 

I apologize that no one replied to this discussion earlier. 

Most of our communication is on our FaceBook site - search for "Calgary Modern Quilt Guild" and you will be added to our group. We do try to update this site but it doesn't get updated as often as we would like it to be, hopefully we can change that over the next few months.  

We are still a fairly new quilting guild with regular meetings (except this past December) since July of last year.  The first 4 meetings had either a discussion on colour or fabric along with show and tell of quilts that members have completed or are in progress.  Januarys meeting will be a discussion on where we would like to see the guild going along with a Show and Tell. 

The skill levels of our members range from beginner to published quilting authors and all skill levels in between.  

Welcome to Calgary and we hope that you can join our meetings.
